Humans and animals share a deep bond of love. ZooRoyal – REWE’s pet supply and pet food retailer – feels it too. And they are celebrating it with a social media campaign. The motto: We feel your love. But if the love is so great, why not change something about how we live together? For example, this: ugly and pet-unfriendly furniture. Time for a true sign of love. Together with AI, the ideal furniture for humans and animals was developed. And it was put to a vote in the community. You can guess who took first place: cat furniture.
Then came the detailed design phase. In collaboration with a veterinarian and a cat psychologist, a professionally conceived, sustainable, and handcrafted design object was created. Social media was involved every step of the way. And then the big moment arrived. In a contest, the community could apply to win the prototype. The result: lots of hearts, likes, and shares.
44 million impressions, +318% newsletter leads, +63% landing page visits. Plus, a prototype that’s set to go into production and some more human-animal furniture to come.
