Fortuna Düsseldorf is back. Back where they belong: in the first German Bundesliga. A rebirth. The rebirth of a club with a great history and strong roots in the region. This rebirth celebrated Fortuna before the new season, including the presentation of the new away shirt. At one of the largest regional festivals in the region, the Düsseldorf Rheinkirmes, the football club celebrated its home-boundness:
Using state-of-the-art AR technology and a specially developed app, the new jersey was lifted from the river and baptized here as an oversized 3D object.
And the whole village, all inhabitants were godfathers. The big fireworks of the fair took place just this evening, of course, was no coincidence. So the club was able to impressively demonstrate its passion for the most beautiful city on the Rhine and capture the festivities in its best underdog manner and guerilla style.
